Thanks for reminder on this survey.

Have now contributed. Forgot to note that "Community" page doesn't specify
that the community is that of data experts, not Community in the NZ people
sense.  Like many aspects of the Data.Govt.nz website the focus is
predominantly inward focused and doesn't have a public service is for the
public awareness. Little on the site encourages community or business
people to linger, browse and think about engagement.

Keen to get update on "Implementation of the Open Data Action Plan" but
that can wait until team return from Argentina.</pre>

          Pleased to see this. Even more keen for KiwiRail to release passenger trip data for future travel planning with reality. Could show capacity gaps as well as preferred times. Mess with planning for Wellington bus travel shows what happens if planners ignore&#8230;

Mess with planning for Wellington bus travel shows what happens if planners ignore reality in favour of hypothetical best guess. A regional councillor has admitted their new bus timetables didn't account for windy streets or unloading times for double-decker buses.  Comparison with real data of trips on streets may have helped give better time estimates.</pre>
